Maureen’s story so far…..
Maureen wants everyone to know & experience how great God is! Having come to know Him for herself when she was only a child, and having loved & studied God’s Word through many challenges, Maureen has a lifetime of experience to share. She is passionate about the power of God’s Word & how salvation is a total life changer & she loves prayer ministry because she has seen the Lord bring freedom, deliverance & hope to many broken people.
Maureen delights to totally trust the Holy Spirit for His anointing on the spoken word, and so she speaks with conviction and with a prophetic edge.
In 2002 Maureen and her son William, (who was born in 1988 with Down Syndrome) became part of the Emmanuel Church family in Lurgan, Craigavon, Northern Ireland. Before coming to Emmanuel, the Lord had miraculously introduced Jayne into Maureen & William’s lives, but little did they know that when William left school there would be an opportunity for Jayne to become his carer and provide a weekly programme – this has totally revolutionised William’s life and freed Maureen up for the ministry.
E gals (Emmanuel gals) is a weekly ladies Bible study with prayer ministry, where Maureen has been teaching the Word since 2006. She also speaks extensively in other churches and conferences, both here and abroad.
Maureen lives with her family in Lurgan & continues to worship at Emmanuel Church.

A word from Pastor Philip Emerson.
Maureen is a well respected member of Emmanuel Church in Lurgan, County Armagh, Northern Ireland. I personally have known Maureen for some forty years. She is a friend and confident and is part of the senior teaching team and an Elder in Emmanuel.
E gals, which is a weekly Bible teaching in Emmanuel church, grew out of a coffee morning for ladies around 2003 when some ladies would meet for a chat and bible study.
Over the years E gals has developed into a well established ministry, we know this is God’s blessing, but a lot must go to Maureen’s skill in the Word. With years of experience in both life and the Word of God – people now travel far and wide to hear her teach. On a more personal note, my wife and I have been blessed by her love and friendship. This is her time and I feel honoured to be part of it.
